Following their purchase of the adjacent site, FDL asked us to assess the feasibility of refurbishing an existing steel truss framed building that had been left in a sorry state. After the original asbestos cement roof and wall cladding had been removed and disposed of we had the steel frame blasted and painted, repaired it where necessary, and set about re-cladding the whole building with insulated panels. With the internal walls cleaned and painted, two new steel fire doors and a new roller shutter door the building now looks much happier and is ready and fit for use once again!
