Some Of Our Past Projects…
-
FDL Group, Haydock.
We were approached by the Managing Director of the group to tender for a large additional storage warehouse and service yard to the rear of the existing production hall and loading bay.
This project came with a few challenges as there was a flooding issue at the bottom of the yard from a surrounding pond. We also needed to construct structural concrete walls to retain the warehouse floor. In addition to this, an LLFA approved sustainable drainage scheme for the building rainwater and yard paving had to be provided to satisfy planning approval conditions.
The building provided approximately 17000ft2 of covered storage linked to the existing at either end, a single dock leveller and separate level access for FLT's with approximately 32000ft2 of concrete paved yard space.
-
Readyplant & Twin Lakes Properties, Croston
We have been involved in the re-development of the old brickworks site in Croston on behalf of Twin Lakes Properties for a number of years now. Starting with the cladding of an existing steel structure, we have now built four other stand alone buildings to accommodate their ever growing list of tenants.
-
Primrose Developments (1995), Chorley
After having completed the cladding of two small retail buildings on the A6 in Chorley for Primrose Developments, we were successful in tendering for the cladding works on two commercial units as part of a larger development at the nearby Strawberry Fields site.
The first 14,000sq ft unit was a mixture of built-up sidewall cladding system with horizontal architectural wall panel detailing to the office elevation and an overhanging eaves with soffit panels.
For the second much larger 50,000sq ft unit, it was decided to use a composite panel throughout the build, with contrasting sections and architectural wall panels across the front gable elevation, wrapping around onto the side with the same eaves detail as before. This gave the building a much more aesthetically pleasing look.
-
Baybutt Transport, Burscough
After being recommended to the owners by an existing landlord client of ours - over twenty years ago, we have been looking after Baybutt's properties ever since. From routine maintenance to building alterations and re-roofing, we are always happy to help.
-
Superwood Products, Ormskirk
We have worked with Superwood's landlords for the past 23 years. During that time we have carried out numerous tasks from general maintenance and repairs to re-roofs and re-furbishments all to keep their three busy industrial estates continually ready for tenancy.
-
J&M Morgan Engineering, Burscough
Morgan's are an exceptionally busy commercial vehicle engineering company who approached us to tender for a much needed new workshop. We won the contract to erect and clad a 6000sqft stand alone building and returned later to erect a partition screen and office to the MOT lane. The latest project was a two storey office and reception extension together with adjoining canopy over the entrance to the the original workshop.
-
Cases For Industry, Liverpool
Over a number of years we have completed various projects for this company. From fire damage repairs to a front elevation facelift and a factory extension to provide additional workshop space.
-
C-Tec, Wigan
We were approached by C-Tec's Construction Development Manager to install the cladding on this canteen/board room extension to their busy factory.
The roofing material was Kingspan Topdek with plastic welded seams, with full parapet sidewalls and horizontal micro-rib wall panels to all three elevations. We used a classic colour combination of Albatross with Sargasso Blue highlight panels and flashings.
-
Stocks Hall, Mawdesley
We were asked by the developers to provide insulated cladding panels as a bearing layer to this steeply pitched roof prior to battening and tiling.
